Chemical process: glycerol method
The existing production capacity is 75,000 tons/year, the main raw materials are glycerol and tetrachloroethylene, and the by-product is hydrochloric acid, which is downstream of the company's chlor-alkali industry integration industrial chain. Epichlorohydrin is a basic organic chemical raw material with a wide range of uses, an intermediate for the synthesis of glycerol, and the main raw material for the synthesis of epoxy resin, chlorohydrin rubber and other products.
At present, Epichlorohydrin in China is mainly used to produce epoxy resin. The consumption structure is that epoxy resin accounts for about 90% of the total consumption, chlorohydrin rubber accounts for about 2%, and other curing agents, pharmaceutical intermediates, solvents, stabilizers, surfactants, flame retardants, oilfield chemicals and water treatment agents account for about 8%.

Main uses
Mainly used to manufacture fiberglass reinforced plastics, adhesives, cation exchange resins, electrical insulation products, solvents, plasticizers, stabilizers, surfactants, pharmaceuticals and other industries, as well as various synthetic resins with special functions.
