The production capacity of Tetrachloroethylene in Befar Group is 80,000 tons/year. Located downstream of the chlor-alkali integrated industrial chain, high-purity tetrachloroethylene can be produced with raw materials of dichloropropane and chlorine from upstream processes.

Product introduction
With an annual capacity of 80,000 tons, our high-purity tetrachloroethylene is a downstream product of Befar Group's integrated chlor-alkali产业链. We utilize by-product dichloropropane from our propylene oxide plant and chlorine from the chlor-alkali unit as raw materials for the chlorination reaction, ensuring a stable and cost-effective supply.
The final product boasts a remarkable purity of 99.9% and serves a wide range of applications. It functions primarily as an industrial solvent, including uses as a refrigerant, dry-cleaning agent, and metal degreasing solvent. It also finds roles as a fat extractant, fire extinguishing agent, smoke screen agent, and as an intermediate in the synthesis of fluorine-containing organic compounds. In the pharmaceutical industry, it is employed as an anthelmintic.
To meet diverse client needs, we offer flexible packaging options in both bulk and drum formats.
Main uses
